Questions?
Is this actually a book?
It's a digital Spanish course designed to feel like an interactive book - you read it, speak to it, and practice right on the page, all in your browser.
What's the difference between monthly and lifetime?
Nothing - you get the same product for both. I just wanted to offer a couple different options to pay for it.
Can I try it first?
Sure! You can see a complete page from Chapter 7 here.
That should give you a good idea what to expect from the full book, but if you're still unsure, I'm happy to refund your money in the first week if you decide it isn't for you - whichever plan you choose.
Who is this written for?
I wrote this book for someone with absolutely no knowledge of Spanish. It starts with the alphabet and basic sounds and covers everything you need to reach an upper intermediate level (the final chapter covers subjunctive, conditional, and perfect).
Even if you're not starting from scratch, you'll hopefully find the exercises and other interactive content useful for solidifying some concepts.
How does it compare to other Spanish grammar books?
It was extremely important to me that this book offer an education at least as clear, detailed, and exhaustive as the other most popular Spanish grammar books available.
I like to think of this book as a narrative grammar (a genre I just made up) - I cover all the important stuff in my own voice, adding my own two cents, encouragement, or commentary when I think it's helpful.
Anything else I should know?
The book isn't designed as a mobile experience, so I recommend accessing it on either a laptop or tablet.
Did AI make this?
Absolutely not. There's been a flood of AI slop language learning apps coming out this year. This is not one of them.
I actually began work on this before AI really popped off. Every word in this book was written by me. I found and clipped the videos myself, chose and annotated all the songs, designed and coded all the little widgets and animations, and decided how to present and cover all the topics.
When you read the book, I hope it's clear that it's the product of a lot of love and passion. For better or worse, it all came out of my very human brain.
